Privacy Policy
At StudyFlex, we care about your privacy.
We will never share your details with any third party without your permission, except where this is essential for the administration of your study programme - in this instance, we may share information with the Chartered Management Institute as necessary. We will not sell or release information to any third party for marketing purposes.
When you browse through our site we collect basic information about your computer and connection for security purposes, and also collect aggregate information on what pages are accessed or visited in order to improve our site, and the services we provide. If you choose to make a purchase we will ask you for more information including your name and address so that we can have your materials delivered to you and your email address, fax number and telephone number so that we can contact you now and in the future. The more that we know about your likes and dislikes, the better we can tailor our offerings to your needs.
If you think our policy falls short of your expectations or that we are failing to abide by our policy, do please tell us.
Here is a list of the information we collect, and why it is necessary to collect it:
Basic identification and contact information, such as your name and contact details.
This information is used:
- to provide you with the services which you request
- for answering your enquiries
- for verifying your identity for security purposes
- to help make our website as useful to you as possible
- for marketing our services
- for billing
- to maintain our accounts
Your domain name and e-mail address are recognised by our servers and the pages that you visit are recorded.
This information is used:
- to maintain and monitor site security
- in a collective way for the purpose of quality control and improvement of our site
- to send you news about the programmes and services to which you have signed up
Financial information, including credit card details.
This information is used to obtain payment for goods and services you have ordered from us. All such information is automatically encrypted and decrypted for use. Our general staff and contractors never have access to it - access is only available for staff who have direct responsibility for processing payments. We only retain this information until the payment has been processed, however, in future we may retain this information because:
- our services can be sold in a way which involves repeat ordering at unspecified future times
- it is convenient for clients to provide credit card information just once, rather than on many occasions
Business information. This is information given to us in the course of your business and ours, such as in relation to any arrangement to act as a business associate or corporate client. Such information is retained for business use only. We undertake to preserve the confidentiality of the information and of the terms of our relationship. It is not used for any other purpose. We expect any partner to agree to reciprocate this policy.
Your e-mail address is recorded when you send e-mail to us, so that we can respond to you.
Disclosure to Government and their agencies. We are subject to the law like everyone else. We may be required to give information to legal authorities if they so request or if they have the proper authorisation. At any time you may review or update the personally identifiable information that we hold about you, by contacting us at the address shown on the Contact Us page. To better safeguard your information, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections to your information.
If you have any questions regarding our privacy policy, please contact us.
